Handler : Bonnie Laidlaw

Before her search work, Bonnie instructed classes and showed her personal dogs in American Kennel Club (AKC) obedience, finding success and delight in AKC tracking, as well.  It was a natural progression to searching, starting with wilderness air scent, and adding human remains detection when the need for cadaver dogs became clear.  Bonnie is certified National Association for Search and Rescue (NASAR) Sartech II.

K-9 Partner:  Aika

Aika certified North American Police Work Dog Association (NAPWDA) wilderness search and rescue at 9 months old,  NASAR Canine Sartech III for wilderness airscent a year later,  followed by International Police Work Dog Association (IPWDA) advanced cadaver, as well as National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) human remains detection.  She is a veteran of many search missions and loves her job.

K-9 Partner: Sea Buoy

Buoy is beginning her training for human remains detection.  After her Canine Good Citizen (CGC), she'll be testing for certification in land and water recovery.
